In affectionate memory of John W. Seed, of Allendale Cottages, died of wounds Sept. 2nd, 1916. Ever remembered by his wife and family, sister and brother-in-law. 'Death divides but memory clings'.
He is remembered at Medomsley on M36.01 and possibly on M36.04 where the picture shows “J.Seed” but serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers.
