Halifax crash, 1944
In the Aviation Museum, Bamburgh Castle, is a propellor from the Halifax V EB245 which crashed at Low Luddick Farm on 16th February 1944.

It also carries a photo of Sgt. R.W. Surman, the only crew member to be killed. The rest were injured.
