At a meeting of the Northumberland County Council held on the 6th day of
July in the year two thousand and five in the Council Chamber, County Hall, Morpeth,
It was resolved that in recognition of the 10th anniversary in the
County since its return from Germany, the County grants to the
39th Regiment Royal Artillery
the Freedom of Entry into the County and the privilege, honour and distinction of marching
through the streets of Northumberland on all ceremonial occasions with
colours flying, bayonets fixed, drums beating an bands playing.
