SGW 50th Anniversary of Royal British Legion

In Hexham Abbey is a stained glass window of three lights. It features the badge of the County of Northumberland; The Royal Navy; the Army; the Merchant Navy; the Royal Air Force.

At the bottom is a scroll which goes across all three lights. The two outer lights carry the dates "1921" and "1971".
In the centre light the words on the scroll read:
To the Glory of God
The commemorate the
Fiftieth Anniversary of
the Royal British Legion.
