This display of poppies is a remnant of the massive display formerly erected at the Tower of London in 2014. Most were sold for funding, but the rest were kept to create a travelling exhibit.
Their first display outside London was in 2015 at Woodhorn, where the poppies tumbled from the top of the winding gear of the mining museum.
