The Morpeth Herald 20/10/1922 reports:
“Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, of 27 Katherine Street, Ashington, have recently returned from a visit to the War Graves in France, and they would be only too pleased to give any information to intending visitors or the relatives of the undermentioned soldiers, who are buried at Bac du Sud, Arras Sector, which is a British Cemetery. The graves in this cemetery are well looked after by workmen and wooden crosses are rapidly being replaced by headstones.
