Colours of 1st Batt. Coldstream Guards

In St. Nicholas Cathedral are the Regimental Colours of the 1st Batt. Coldstream Guards. The plaque has a border of wild roses in red. The Battle names are down each side and the regimental badge at centre top.

There is a plaque which reads:

The above Colours of the
1st Bn. Coldstream Guards
were brought to this city
and were laid up in this
Cathedral Church Sept. 7th 1921
Lieut. General Sir Alfred Codrington, K.G.B., K.C.V.O.
