Memorials at Souter Lighthouse
At Souter Lighthouse an exhibition tells of Thomas Richardson Jnr. from No.6 Souter Lighthouse who served with Royal Artillery in 1914-18.

Also, picnic tables bear brass plates in remembrance of various people.
One of these is:

“In loving memory of
Corporal Michael Phillips
died 27th January 2002
aged 31 years while on tour of
duty in Sierra Leone”.

The other remembers:

“Robert Humble
RAF (VR) 1943-1947
Born 2.8.1922 died 28.1.2003”.
