Military Cross Country 1916
The Newcastle Daily Chronicle 12/02/1916 reports the eighth military cross country fixtures promoted by the North Eastern District Committee of the Northern Command Cross Country Association. 41 teams were to take part. The course was about 6.5 miles, starting from South Shields Town Hall.
