Wounded Soldiers at Gateshead 1918

Here is a photograph of wounded soldiers from the Saltwell Towers Hospital being entertained by the Lady clerks in the Cashier's and Accountant's office from the Gateshead Locomotive Department Works. The entertainment consisted of a whist drive and supper, and there was also dancing and singing.
