Bell in Church Tower
In St John’s Church tower is a plaque stating that the 7th Bell in this peal was dedicated in 1902, given by Colonel Thomas Miles Sandys, first MP for Bootle division of Lancashire and D. L. of that county, in further remembrance of the old regiment, 7th Royal Fusiliers. Plaque made by Jones and Willis.
