Seat: Penman
In St. Michael's Churchyard is a seat in memory of Mr. E.H. Penman (died 1991) & Mrs. Edna Penman (died 1983). The plaque reads:

This seat was made from the timber from
Battle Ship H.M.S. Vanguard when dismantled at
Timber Craft Limited, Shannon, Dubartonshire
Of which Mr. Ernest Herbert Penman was
Auditor and Accountant for 17 years.
